The Lawrence Sprint will focus on preparation of Codebook for development review and overall model review and integration. The Codebook activity will focus on the following tasks: - Testing known examples against the Codebook View
- Evaluation of the Codebook View in terms of facilitating the deposit of data in an archive
- Identifying any gaps with DDI-Codebook
- Creating view specific documentation
- Qualitative assessment of the Codebook View to include with the review information
The Modeling Team and Technical Committee will focus on a number of tasks: - Provision of a main document for DDI-Views providing a common understanding of the goals of DDI-Views based on current understanding. The audience for the document includes people involved with the Moving Forward Project, DDI Alliance members, and the public. This should be organized in a way that appropriate sections can be used as part of the high level Class Library documentation as as a common section for the high level document for each Functional View.
- Review of package integration including where packages touch, how information passes between packages, how overview or strictly descriptive classes relate to more detailed/machine-actionable classes, and this is expressed in Functional Views.
- Perform a coverage and gap review between DDI-Views and DDI-Lifecycle and DDI-Views and GSIM. Determine how this effects the on-going development of DDI-Views and DDI-Lifecycle.
