  1. Alignment on goals and process

    • Documentation of TC solution?

      • Still in progress

    • What can it do and what not?

      • Overview of different options

      • What can agencies do and get

      • What could agency potentially do and get in each of the scenarios

      • What do we do - what does that allow you to do

      • → tie this directly to the concrete use cases to show which can do what

    • What have we learned in the past and can do better this time?

  2. Specification of next steps

    • Once paper is done, have a workshop on the topic, e.g. community meeting or specific topic meeting

      • Use this to identify interests across both agencies and alliance -> need the right people to participate, i.e. technical perspective and applied users

      • Who needs this service(s) and how would they use it?

  3. Can we ask for options and interest in a “simple” survey?

    • Many subscribers to ddi-users don’t have the implications readily available

    • Risk of too simple descriptions can cause lots of interest that doesn’t match the needs

    • Keep multiple version with different extensiveness

  4. Need clear and understandable and comparable service descriptions for the different options

    • Service descriptions for the different options

    • comparison-matrix , similar to when buying different level subscriptions 

    • Options:

      • The solution we have

      • More extensive centralised version

      • Bells and whistle version(s)

  5. Timeline

    • Annual meeting is about reporting, less about discussion on topics like this (by-laws define it as a discussion forum)

      • Could discuss options at the next board meeting - Carsten to write mail to Hilde+Ingo

      • We would report that we plan a workshop and ask for ideas on what this workshop should cover

    • Full workshop not before summer
