Official Statistics Working Group

Purpose: The Official Statistics Working Group (OSWG) is established under the Executive Board of the DDI Alliance to support and enhance the use of DDI standards by organizations making or contributing to the production of official statistics. The group will provide recommendations for improving DDI to better align with the needs of statistical agencies, facilitate collaboration among agencies, and promote the adoption of DDI in official statistics.
Deliverables
A report outlining key challenges and recommendations for improving DDI for organizations making or contributing to the production of official statistics.
Best practice guidelines and use case documentation for organizations making or contributing to the production of official statistics that are also adopting DDI.
Contributions to the development and refinement of DDI standards, as appropriate.
Invitation to organizations making or contributing to the production of official statistics, especially statistical agencies, to become members of the DDI Alliance.
Members
Membership is open to Full and Associate members of the DDI Alliance. Additional subject matter experts may be invited as needed. Members are expected to actively participate in meetings and contribute to working group activities.
