Using DDI-CDI with Other Standards

Using DDI-CDI with Other Standards

Introduction

  • The use of DDI-CDI in combination with other standards is expected, in various ways

  • The Cross-Domain Interoperability Framework (CDIF) is one example, but other combinations will also be used

  • Significant standards include:

    • DDI Codebook

    • DDI Lifecycle

    • SKOS/XKOS

    • DCAT

    • Schema.org

    • PROV-O

    • RO Crates

    • This group will look at how best to document these alignments, whether this means mappings in a format like SSSOM, relationships included in the UML model, or other forms of documentation.

To be addressed as relevant. (This will be a topic which is addressed more fully next week…)
