  • @Hilde Orten (Unlicensed) can check with Arofan on some of these examples; pending

• Programmer’s Intro to DDI - Dan

  • Dan has checked in with Arofan about this and has not yet received a response; Dan will try again and Kathryn will include it in the notes

  • Will need to solicit for feedback from programmers and developers in the DDI community to cover relevant topics

• Questions and questionnaires slide deck - Hayley (part of Training Fair for EDDI)

  • Action item: Implementing fair with DDI - create a training deck from the webinar slides; follow up with Laura and Arofan on this topic

    • This will be our next focus

    • As a group we will review this; Kathryn will consolidate feedback; provide feedback via email or in comments in the slide deck by the next meeting

  • Do we also have webinar material on choosing the right DDI tool? CODATA-DDI Training Webinars - CODATA, Committee on Data of the ISC

    • Example of past webinars converted to training slide decks: understanding metadata; quality

    • Should be more in-depth than what is in the webinar

    • A little concern about tools slide deck - depends on the content

  • How to use the training materials library - Hayley will check this out

Kathryn cannot attend the July 5 training group meeting; will anyone volunteer to represent the slide group at that meeting? Hayley and Kaia out, too. Kathryn will ask Hilde and Dan. If not, Kathryn will add notes to the meeting agenda to provide updates.
